Training and consultancy
Training
From e-learning to blended to face-to-face, we have training options for every situation.
Our e-learning is our recommended training approach for any compliance material, with each course having a certificate available for successful completion.
Our knowledge includes our in-depth and refresher GDPR content as well as a range of e-learning "nuggets", 5-10 minutes bite-sized modules on a range of information security topics; all managed within our learning management system in our Knowledge Bank.
Find out more about our training options below.

- Supporting internal staff with data protection programme implementation
- Data protection impact assessment
- Long-term compliance support
Whatever help you need, our consultants are ready to work with you to provide tailored advice and support. We're available for longor short-term engagements and specialise in rapid-response projects.

Combine with other interventions
Use a mix of online learning modules with face-to-face training or other key knowledge bank features for a blend of learning, assessment and real-world testing. For example:
- Use the Compliance Manager to record staff compliance with organisational policies
- Let us lead an interactive workshop to develop your implementation and incident response planning
- Use our phishing simulation tool to test white-hat social engineering scmas with your staff
Face-to-face
Our face-to-face training is tailored to your specific needs.
Whether it's a one-hour awareness session, or a multi-session implementation workshop we can deliver training at your location, online or up to 15 delegates at our office.
Training topics range from general introductions through to specialist workshops reviewing current practices, record of processing analysis, or SAR and data breach simulation.
Training can be delivered to a mixed audience, or birds-of-a-feather groups such as administrators, senior leadership or governing boards.
We recommend combining face-to-face training with online elements to create a truly effective blended programme.
Competency framework
The DPE data protection proficiency framework maps the key data protection skills required across your organisation. Map the proficiencies required for your staff against the processes in the Record of Processing to obtain a personalised learning programme based on the processing undertaken by each role.
Certification
Coming in 2021: A certification programme based around the DPE Data Protection Proficiency Framework.
The DPE Certified Data Protection Professional will be based on assessment of knowledge and professional experience. The certification will provide a level of accreditation for members of staff taking on an internal data protection lead, or DPO role.
