Sadly, we are letting you know about another cyber attack on a group of schools in Blackpool in the second week of term.
The trust reported yesterday that it was having issues with some of its systems that use the internet, but further information has now come to light that it was another cyber attack.
It is reported to be a ransomware attack where the trust's network was affected, leaving limited access to systems. The attack affected all ten of the Trust's academies. The Trust say they are being support by the DfE and a cyber security company who provide IT support to businesses that have suffered a cyber attack.
